Check the Special Banner Before Spending
Word Mage is a Mythic in the Special summon pool. Check the featured board and the available Celestial Compass choices in your own summon menu before spending. Featured lineups can differ, so use the selection you can actually see when deciding whether to summon.
The Celestial Compass lets you choose your next Mythic from the Special banner. It is consumed only when your selected Mythic lands, and that result resets the banner's pity. For a Word Mage summon plan, first make sure Word Mage appears among the available choices.
